Overview
Now that you have established the basics on adding resources to your library, you can now share those resources in the following activity. In this activity, you will be asked to share using different
methods. First share your folder with a group, then from a post from a peer and then finally using Google Docs.
Instructions
After completing this exercise, students will be able to:
- share your folders with individuals and groups.
- apply and utilize external shared resources from Google doc files or from previous posts to the library resources.
- understand how to combining resources and sharing among communities can be beneficial.
Overview
Now that you have established the basics on adding resources to your library, you can now share those resources in the following activity. In this activity, you will be asked to share using different
methods. First share your folder with a group, then from a post from a peer and then finally using Google Docs.
Instructions
- Login to EDMODO if you have not already.
- Share one or more of your folders created in the previous exercise with a group of your choice.
- Send a post to a group member in the course that has one attached file or web link and ask the member to send you a file in return. Once you have received a post with an attached file, go to your Library and share the attached post with your group.
- The last step is to access your Library and select the Google Docs on the left of the navigation pane. Here you are asked to connect to Google Docs. Do so and explore how this tool could be beneficial for use in the classroom.
- When complete with this assignment, complete the Module 2 Quiz Assessment: Recalling Your Library Knowledge located on the Module Assessment on the training website.
